-Do your outside reading oral book report. I will be in CTE computer lab during lunch or after school. We may take some time in class each day to do reports.
-Makeup work and NY work is due by Oct. 30, end of the 9 weeks grading period. I will be here after school each day this week and the computer lab is open M and W until 5 p.m. for makeup work.

Wed. Final assessment
Write a narrative about a cultural misunderstanding. You have the choice to write a narrative of a cultural misunderstanding that you witnessed or experienced firsthand. It could be something involving a family conflict, religious experience, or school-related event. You may either write a 3-4 page story or you may write a 9-10 page illustrated children's book. The final product is due on Monday, Oct. 29. Be ready to present your piece.

For illustrations, you may use magazine cutouts, stickers, stick figures, drawings, paintings or a mix of all. Sample children's books will be available.in the classroom This is your final assessment for this unit.
